We are always looking for new ideas, no matter what they may be. Angela De Falco
Hello, my name is Angela DeFalco and I am the president of Sigma Delta Pi--Eta Upsilon! I am currently a senior at Illinois State and will be graduating with a degree in Spanish Teacher Education and an endorsement in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I love to be physically active, read, and cook! I am very excited for what we have planned this semester and can't wait to continue serving our community!
Hola, mi nombre es Angela DeFalco y soy la presidenta de Sigma Delta Pi--Eta Upsilon. Estoy en mi último año aquí en Illinois State. Voy a graduarme con un título en la enseñanza del español y con un respaldo en TESOL (la enseñanza del inglés a hablantes de otros idiomas) ¡Me encanta estar físicamente activo, leer y cocinar! Estoy muy emocionada por lo que hemos planeado este semestre y no puedo esperar a continuar sirviendo a nuestra comunidad!

Hello, my name is Ignacio Gamboa, the vice president of SDP, and I am currently a senior at Illinois State. I'll be graduating in May with a degree in Spanish education, with an added focus of bilingual education. Running, cooking, and spending time outside are also pastimes of mine. I'm very excited for the events we have planned this year as an organization!
Hola, mi nombre es Ignacio Gamboa, soy el vicepresidente del SDP, y en este momento estoy en mi cuarto y último año aquí en Illinois State. Voy a graduarme en mayo con un título en la enseñanza del español, además con un enfoque en la enseñanza bilingüe. Correr, cocinar, y pasar tiempo afuera son algunas cosas que me gustan hacer en mi tiempo libre. ¡Estoy súper emocionado por los eventos que hemos planeado para este año como organización!

Mikaela de Leon
Hello! My name is Mikaela de Leon and I am the secretary of Sigma Delta Pi. I will be graduating in May of 2023 with a degree in Spanish Teacher Education and two minors in Latin American/Latino Studies and Italian. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, binge watching tv shows, and spending time with family and friends. I am so excited to plan new, fun events with my SDP friends this year and make connections.
¡Hola! Me llamo Mikaela de Leon y soy la secretaria de Sigma Delta Pi. Me graduaré el Mayo de 2023 con un degradado en la enseñanza de español con dos especializaciones menores en los estudios latinos y italiano. En mi tiempo libre, me gusta leer, ir al gimnasio, hacer una maratón de programas de televisión, y pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis amigos. Estoy muy entusiasmada por planear eventos nuevos y divertidos con mis amigos de SDP y crear conexiones nuevas.

Hello! My name is Sandy Camarillo and I am the social media chair of Sigma Delta Pi! I am currently a Junior at Illinois State and will be graduating with a degree in Spanish Teacher Education and an endorsement in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). My favorite things to do in my free time consist of going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, reading, and shopping! I am looking forward to helping our organization grow and continue giving back to our community!

Yasmin Carrillo
Hi, my name is Yasmin Carrillo and I do Public Relations for Sigma Delta Pi. I am a senior at Illinois State studying Journalism and Political Science. I have a minor in Spanish and Sociology. I am a huge bookworm. My goal for 2022 is to read 215 books. I love iced matcha lattes and spontaneous trips with my sister and cousins. I am excited about the many things Sigma Delta Pi has planned this semester and to share them all with you.
Hola, yo soy Yasmin Carrillo y mi papel dentro Sigma Delta Pi son relaciones públicas. Estoy en mi último año en Illinois State y estoy estudiando periodismo y ciencia política. Tengo dos sub-especialización en español y sociología. Me encanta leer y este año mi meta es leer 215 libros. También me encantan los matcha lattes helados y los viajes espontáneos con mi hermana y mis primos. Estoy emocionada por las cosas que Sigma Delta Pi ha planeado este semestre y estoy preparada para compartirlas con ustedes.
